The Story
Bill and Louise Rice envisioned a place where guests could experience Northern Idaho the way locals do — on the water, around a table of great food, and under a sky full of stars. Watson's Lakefront Resort is that vision brought to life.
The property offers five unique accommodations, from rustic log cabins to a one-of-a-kind geodesic dome, alongside Red's Tavern — a garden-to-table restaurant where nearly all ingredients are locally sourced. Beyond the lodging itself, guests have run of Louise's on-property garden and the lakefront yoga deck — small touches that make the place feel lived-in rather than rented.
